ABOUT JON KAKER
Experience
My name is Jon Kaker. No one calls me Jon- it's Kaker or Kake $how. I don't even know why I tell people my name is Jon in the first place.
Anyway, I'm an NASM certified personal trainer (fancy way of saying I'm legit,) VertiMax Bootcamp instructor, basketball coach, a strength and conditioning coach.

I became a nationally certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2011. For my first gig I trained at Gold’s Gym in Venice, “the Mecca of Bodybuilding” for two years March 2012-2014.
I also worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Pierce College in 2014. I got my Bachelors in Kinesiology: Applied Fitness at Cal State University Northridge May 2015.
In August 2016 I was hired as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Crossroads High School (Santa Monica). My first team, Girls Volleyball, made it all the way to the California State Championship.

In March 2014, I created #KakeFit allowing clients to receive personal training without a lengthly gym membership.

I've played basketball (collegiate and semi-pro), football and swim. As an athlete, I realized that Vertimax is an extremely effective way to jump higher and run faster. I created #VertimaxBootcamp to help athletes achieve their potential using a method I know works.

Philosophy
It takes an athlete to know an athlete. If you want to perform at the highest level possible, I can get you there. Because I've been there.
